Ark Nova, Japan – Isozaki Kapoor

2013

Conceived as a performance venue that would tour the region of Japan devastated by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, Ark Nova was first deployed in Matsushima. The inflatable 500-seat hall, is enclosed by 22,000 square feet of PVC-coated polyester.
