‘Geoffrey Bawa: Architecture for the Senses’ at Vitra Design Museum invites visitors on a deep dive into the Sri Lankan architect’s life and vision

The show brings together archive drawings, models, film and newly commissioned photography by Iwan Baan in an exhibition design sensitively put together by Lina Ghotmeh in a way that not only creates a warm, enveloping environment that takes the visitor one step closer to the Sri Lankan context of Bawa’s life, but also feels in harmony with the Vitra Design Museum’s own building, a Frank Gehry original from 1989.
