I LEARNED OF Frank’s passing while visiting his Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. It was a strange coincidence. All these years, we shared a relationship of mutual respect. I do not believe he resembled any architect of the past. He was a remarkable definer of new possibilities. He was truly sui generis: one of a kind.
