Arthouse Project: A-House, Inujima Japan – Kazuyo Sejima

2013

The Inujima “Art House Project” explores the theme of an “earthly paradise” of Arcadian ideals that fuses art and architecture with the landscapes and people of the island. Entering the clear acrylic circle that is A-House, one can view the work against the backdrop of the surrounding scenery. This “gallery” displays a kaleidoscope of brightly colored shapes made from clusters of manmade petals.
