The Lin’an History Museum, designed by Amateur Architecture Studio (Wang Shu and Lu Wenyu), integrates with the land’s natural topography and history, reinforcing the cultural identity of Lin’an, a town historically overshadowed by nearby Hangzhou. Located within Wuyue Cultural Park, the museum preserves farmland and memory of the original village while showcasing Qian family artefacts, ancient ceramics, and local crafts. Fragmented into interconnected buildings, it includes museum, public, and commercial spaces.
