This time around, we explore the world through the lens of five expert architectural photographers—from stunning spaces and inspiring destinations to behind-the-scenes, intimate moments. S

Approaching his Insta feed as “a diary of travels with the iPhone,” renowned Dutch photographer Iwan Baan’s IG captures both the everyday and the incredible. From Burkina Faso to Palm Springs, and famed artist studios to open air markets, there’s always something intriguing to see. Plus, Baan has incredible access to some of the world’s most respected creatives and coveted places. Take, for example, his gorgeous shots of the modernist classic Frey House at dusk, or the beautiful moment he captured of legendary artist Christo, alone at sunset with his just-installed, floating Mastaba installation on London’s Serpentine Lake.
